"My small business, G Rose Apparel, started as a hobby my freshman year. I was looking for a UNH Winter coat and found that it didn't exist. So, with my dad's help, I invested in 100+ women's jackets and went through the process of getting a license to use UNH logos. I wanted to expand my products so I began 'Durham High Life' once my license expired. The Durham High Life apparel quickly became the talk of the town. I sold over 200 trucker hats and continue to sell those and hoodies! I have learned so much on how to manage and grow a small business.
